The following projects and pictures are all items that I have been commissioned to make. Letterbox Cover
A lady went into my local post office to ask if they knew of anywhere she could buy an oversized letterbox cover for the inside of her front door. Her husband had inadvertently made the hole too big. The postmaster gave her my card and this is the result, made from parts of an old barbecue! True recycling of materials with some chrome plating. The customer was thrilled.
Unusual Garden Gates
A friend of mine was dog sitting for 2 weeks and needed gates to keep the animals safe in his garden. He wanted something unusual and permanent and put me to the test. He is a fellow motor sport enthusiast and liked the idea of metal gates with a twist.
I showed him some initial sketches and he was pleased with the idea, but didn’t really know what to expect until I arrived to fit them.
BMX Wall Light
I was asked if I could come up with something unusual for a boys bedroom light for his birthday. He is mad on BMX racing so I used this as a theme. The resulting lamp, shown below, was a triumph with both mom and son. Wall mounted with a helmet above it looks amazing.
