What better way is there to show off a little candlelight than with the natural wood of a barrel stave. If you look closely you can just see where the underside of the stave is stained red from the wine, creating a truly beautiful piece.
This table lamp is made from oak staves from a wine barrel. The red stain from the wine makes for a really beautiful-looking piece. Depending on the size of the lamp required, it can be made from either 3 or 4 staves.
A flexible cord with an inline switch and an old-style bulb enhances the superb finish of this product.
Introducing the “glow torch” (Can you see what I did there)
A beautiful table lamp, made from a vintage paraffin blow torch. Hand polished and lovingly restored.
Fitted with black and gold braided flex with an in-line switch.
A retro-style bulb has been used to give a subtle, warming light, mimicking the torch flame.
How can you picture it being used?
I see it used as a directional light source, to highlight a room corner. Or, as a lethal weapon to melt the faces off invading aliens as they disembark from their spacecraft hell-bent on global domination.
Ok. probably not that last one…
We’ll leave that up to you. (Oh- and obviously – no actual paraffin is required… you know just in case you thought it was)
